Welcome to the Southeastern Minnesota chapter of Project Linus!
Before Making Tied Fleece Blankets be sure to cut off the selvages before you begin. THANK YOU!
We are a local chapter of Project Linus, a national nonprofit organization that provides handmade blankets to seriously ill and traumatized children. Based in Rochester, we're looking for volunteers, or "blanketeers," to make quilted, knitted, crocheted, crochet-edged fleece, or tied fleece blankets. Please consider joining us to help provide comfort and security to children in our area.
Our next meeting is on March 9, 2024 from 9:30 - 12:30 at Oasis Church, 3819 18th Ave. in Rochester. Bring your own blanket projects and supplies (click here for more info on blanket guidelines). Meetings are optional (but fun!) and you're welcome to stay for part or all of the day -- hope to see you there!
