Service Organizations Donating to Our Chapter
We appreciate all blankets donated by service organizations. In order to help us get the blankets to those who need them faster, please follow these tips:
- Please cut off the selvage edges of fleece FIRST, before clipping the tags. Our quality control volunteers have to clip off each individual tag if this is not done ahead of time. Click on the button below to see pictures of selvage edges​.
- Please cut the squares from each corner so the blanket does not become a circle once it's tied.
- If possible, tumble completed fleece blankets in a dryer on No Heat/Fluff for 10 minutes. Fleece tends to have fluffs and other things stick to it. Tumbling fleece in a non-heat dryer will remove most of the fluffs and will help us not need to buy so many lint rollers.
